About the Fast boat
The Bahari Express is a passenger fast boat that leaves from the Kartina harbour in Jepara. Book your boat ticket to Karimunjawa here with our ticket service so we can ensure an easy travel experience. This way you don’t have to worry about the often changing boat schedule, visiting the office over and over again (due to the lack of clear opening hours), finding a legit ticket seller online or being on time for the boat departure.
Bahari Express charters two speedboats from Jepara to Karimunjawa and back. Both boats have a capacity of around 300 - 400 people. There are two seating areas downstairs, a VIP area on the middle level, and the local seating area upstairs. Additionally, there is a little outside terrace upstairs.
In the high season, the boat leaves once a day often in the morning, however, the schedule is known to change from time to time. Make sure to check the boat schedule on our Instagram Highlight before booking your ticket.
How does it work?
Place your order - When booking your taxi you automatically agree with our agency policy and booking and cancellation policy. Before ordering your ticket, please make sure to check the boat schedule on our Instagram Highlight. Don't forget to attach a copy of the passports from all travellers.
Confirm your order - Confirm your order by paying the order in full. After this will start processing.
Process booking - After receiving the payment we will order the tickets according to availibility. If your tickets are not availible we will refund the funts in full.
Confirmation email - As soon as we purchased your tickets, we will send you your invoice with the necessary information.
Boarding pass - Within 24-hours of departure we can check you in for your journey after which we receive your boarding passes. These we will send to you by email. If you prefer to do this yourself you can do this in the harbour on departure at the ticket office.
Departure - Make sure to be in the harbour an hour before departure. You can easily hop on the Bahari Express fast boat and finish your journey.

The price of the fast boat ticket includes our service fee & the harbour tax.
To facilitate the booking process for fast boat tickets, our team requires a copy of the passports or KTP (identity cards) of all travelers. Please note that without these documents, we are unable to proceed with booking your ticket, as it is a requirement imposed by the boat company's insurance regulations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in providing the necessary information for your booking.
After booking your ticket, our agency will provide you with an invoice. This invoice can be exchanged for your boarding pass within 24 hours of your trip. Once you have been checked in, we will promptly send your boarding pass to you via email. Thank you for choosing our agency for your travel needs, and we look forward to assisting you further.
The Bahari Express fast boat does not offer a special price for children; however, there is a reduced price for infants up to the age of 3. Please note that infants do not receive their own seat. Thank you for your understanding.
To order a boat ticket, our agency requires full payment upfront. Please note that your order will not be processed until payment has been received. Thank you for your cooperation.
To order a boat ticket, our agency request a payment in full. With the payment, your order won't be processed.
If the boat gets cancelled by the boat company, you will be able to get a full refund minus our service fee. You will receive the funds within 14 working days after the travel date. If you prefer to change the date, rather than cancelling your ticket, your tickets can be rescheduled free of charge.
Cancelling our rescheduling your ticket is possible up to 24 hours before the travel date. We will refund you 50% of the ticket price. To modify your ticket you will be charged 25% of the ticket price on top of the first ticket you purchased.
You will receive the funds within 14 working days after the travel date.
In case the boat company adds an extra boat to the schedule. It is possible that the time of your departure changes.
We will inform you about this change as soon as we receive this information. If the new departure time doesn't suite your travel plans. You can cancel or reschedule for free.
I apologize for any confusion. Please note that the boat company does not offer a return ticket option. Instead, you must purchase two separate tickets for your outbound and return journeys. Thank you for the clarification. Please note that the fast boat only has space for passengers and small goods. If you wish to transport your vehicle to Karimunjawa, you must do so using the Siginjai ferry. If you have any other inquiries or require further assistance, please feel free to ask.
