Book your car ticket for the slow ferry with Karimunjawa Package and will arrange you boat ticket to Karimunjawa from start to finish. This way you don’t have to worry about the often changing boat schedule, standing in line on time in the harbor, or being on time for the boat departure.
The Siginjai ferry is a slow boat from the government that not only carries people to Karimunjawa but also cars, supplies animals, etc. On the first level, there are three different passenger areas, two for the executive class and one for the VIP. The deck on the second level is an open sun deck where you can sit in the outdoors. The boat is suitable for 200 passengers, from which 30 VIP tickets. VIP tickets get seats assigned to them, but the standard tickets are open seating and therefore people are free to find a place themselves.
In the high season, the boat leaves almost every morning, however, the schedule is known to change from time to time so check the current schedule in our Instagram Highlight. We always advise you to check with our agency if there are any schedule changes before planning your trip based on the schedule on our Instagram. As mentioned before, the boat company is still not as relay able as it should be regarding scheduling.

| DURATION | The boat takes a minimum of four hours depending on the height of the waves and the wind. |
| SINGLE TICKET & RETOUR | It’s possible to book a single ticket from Jepara to Karimunjawa, from Karimunjawa to Jepara or retour. Please select your preference in the check out form. The price above is for a single ticket, however, guest will receive discount booking a retour ticket or booking for a big group. Please contact us for this last option, you will receive a special price. |

| TAX PAYMENT | Guest travelling to Karimunjawa island all need to pay Harbour tax, Tourist tax and National park tax. Check our FAQ-page for more information about the different kinds of tax. The Harbour tax is included in our ticket price, however the Tourist and National park tax are not. On request we are happy to take care of these expenses for you, and will include them on your invoice. |
HOW DOES IT WORK?
After you place your order (please don’t forget to mention your travel date at check-out) and we checked the availability, we will send you a payment request by email. After receiving the payment, we can order the car boat tickets for you and send you all the information you need.
On the day of your trip our team will meet you at the harbor and hand you your tickets. The tickets cannot be handed over earlier because they are only issued by the ticket office on the day of departure. After receiving the ticket you can easily drive your car on to the Siginjai slow ferry and finish your journey to Karimunjawa. The price of the car ticket for the slow ferry includes our service fee & the harbour tax.
If preferred, our team can also take the responsibility of parking your car on to the boat. Whether this is after you drove your car to the harbour yourself and you have tickets for the Bahari Express or Siginjai, or maybe the night before departure from your hotel. The payment request you receive will contain the full payment for the tickets, the necessary payment information and the request to send us a copy of your passports and license plate. For international payments we use both direct transfers and the international payment platform Wise. After your payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email.
